1. Executive summary

Atradius Dutch State Business (Atradius DSB) is the official export credit agency (ECA) of the Netherlands.

The ECA can contribute to the global climate goals to which the Netherlands is committed, while also safeguarding knowledge, jobs, and Dutch competitiveness in the future.

This document provides an overview of the measures that have been introduced (and possible follow-up steps) to promote and support a shift towards climate-neutral, climate-resilient exports, consisting of the following four building blocks:

1. Incentivise exports of and investments in low-carbon technologies, innovations, nature-based solutions, and climate change adaptation projects;
2. Decarbonising and reducing transaction related emissions, in line with the COP26 declaration;
3. Engaging with fellow organizations and other stakeholders to promote climate action and encourage a level playing field;
4. Disclosing and reporting on progress regarding our climate ambitions.
